Calling all artists:
As you may know, The Community Hall is raising funds to replace the roof. The goal is to raise $20,000 matching funds for the approximately $40,000 needed for the new roof. We want to help towards that goal.
On May 3, The Paul Gellman Band will be offering a benefit concert, called “Raising the Roof”, featuring Paul, Brad Shipley, Jacquie Parker-Snedker and Alicia Murray. Tickets are $20.00 each and most of the proceeds will be going to the Community Hall to help “raise the roof”.
Besides the music, we are also holding a silent auction, offering art and other products and services to attendees at the concert. I am asking for your help with this and encourage you to participate by donating an item that can be auctioned from your creations.
Please feel free to call me with any questions. We have a most amazing community on Gabriola and our Community Hall provides such a wonderful and valued venue for a wide variety of events. How blessed we are to be able to contribute to our own gathering place… our Community Hall.
